Webster's
New Collegiate Dictionary defines boundary as something that indicates or fixes a limit.
We
all live within boundaries. Some are physical some are
not. Some protect us and others imprison us.
Physical
boundaries include the four walls that we call home and the
fence that surrounds the neighborhood playground.
Other
boundaries are less easily seen; for example, the borders
between states, sometimes even between countries.
Still
other boundaries lie within our minds. Their territories
are defined by our heritage, our culture, our parent's
beliefs, our attitudes, our experiences and our own limiting
thoughts. |
